14th March Kho Samui

Took us quite while to get there with a very early start. Got on the ferry and stupidly fell asleep with not much sun cream on and so my neck is in full on lobster mode. Also burned my arms and got really sexy tanlines where my bracelets, watch and rings were. I wasn't the only one however...most of the group had made the same mistake. Sandy resort was our next location. Two taxis picked us up and we were all so excited. Our taxi had a kareoke machine in the back. Me, Hol and Martin were going for it and doing our best to sing in thai and not insult the driver...so i am now the band 'carabo's biggest fan. The resort was amazing, we had our own section of the beach. white sands and clear water. Couldn't wait to swim in the sea. Holly ran in, smiled and said, 'There Then'. Had a little sunbathe and got ready for a meal (am no longer red but going brown..hurrah!). Went for a drink at a bar that overlooked the street where all the clubs were. Its so funny watching all the thai people in bars try to imitate the westies dancing. All along the street were men offering take a photo with their pet monkeys (no hidden sexual meaning here) for 100 baht. The monkeys were so small and were the cutest little gorgeous awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i want one...tiny..face..eyes...sucking its thumb..AWWW....want it. Nice one please.
