Woke up in pitch black because our room has no windows (it is actually very nice, I'm just making it sound like a small asian cave). Apparently it was 10am! We'd hoped for an early star ...so much for that bad boy and so decided to spend the day 'shopping' on Orchard Road, the main street in Singapore. I use the term shopping very loosley as we are all very broke and can't afford to buy anything....saying this i did make arather elaborate purchase today as i gave birth to my second ipod. For a mere $120 (that is pounds but there is no key on the comp for the sterling sign..boo), I purchased a 30G video ipod in white finish and complete with a red silicon cover. It is one of the sexiest things I have ever seen in my life. I don't care that it cost 4 days budget..its pretty and that is that. However, I realised that however pretty an ipod is, its still not much use without any songs on it. We stumbled accross the apple store and somehow managed to persuade a small chinese man to put some songs from his lap top on it. Get in! Only have Five and N*Sync though...ah well!That night we went to the Clark Quay- a highly sexy bit of town covered in fairy lights and abundant in quayside bars and restaurants. My favourite bit of the night was when a 40 year old man seemed genuinley suprised to see me.

'You on holiday or something then? Course you are..I knew that'
Well i hope you didn't creepy man because that would be weird. Also got asked directions this morning by a man on a moped. I told him I was just travelling and had no clue...to which he tipped his head back, revved his engine and stated, 'Nice Breasts." What a gent.
